What’s so good about ductless air conditioning?
Going ductless means that temperature changes are supplied directly to the room you want. They may also be called split-systems, multi-split systems, or ductless-split systems. Ductless air conditioning solutions can be installed almost anywhere, including in spaces that already use forced air, as a supplemental way of cooling hard-to-cool areas.
Ductless air conditioning systems also operate on less power, so that means more money in your pocket when it comes to your energy bill. Ductless air conditioning units are generally smaller, and the loss of efficiency between rooms is slim to none because you don’t have potentially leaky ventilation systems delivering your cool air. Ductless air conditioning units also allow homeowners to “zone” their home, so cooling rooms that aren’t occupied is no longer necessary.
